A Review of Yahoo! Voices

Freelance Writing for Yahoo! Voices

Voices has requested.  In addition, there are a few different ways you can get paid.  In this blog post I'll provide a little more information about Yahoo! Voices. What can I write about on Yahoo! Voices? You can write just about any type of article on Yahoo! Voices - I've written articles about working from home, as well as articles on health topics, and a few articles about my town's sign ordinance, which was challenged after a resident spray-painted a message on his home letting everyone know how he felt about a road-widening project that left him with flooding problems in his yard.   What are my options for getting paid? There are a few different ways you can get paid when you write for Yahoo! Voices. After you write your article, you can … [Read more...]

Review of Epinions

epinions review

If there is one thing that we work-at-homers (WAHers) know, it is that our opinions count. Not only do our opinions count, but with the right work-at-home company, we can also get paid for our opinions. One place of these companies is Epinions.com, where you can earn money writing product reviews for 30 different categories of products. Some of the most popular categories include cars, software and computers, electronics, kids and family, and sports. Online opinion/surveys/review writing sites are really nothing new to most of us who have been working at home for a few years. There are well-known reputable sites such as Pinecone Research as well as those companies, which border on being a work-at-home scam.   What makes Epinions different? Epinions has made Clark Howard's List of Legitimate Work at Home Companies for 2012. It will be interesting to see what he names for his list in 2013. Most of you will recognize Clark Howard as the nationally syndicated consumer … [Read more...]

A Review of Squidoo

squidoo

Squidoo is a writing site loosely comparable to Yahoo Contributor Network and HubPages. It is different from a content mill in that you can write whatever your little heart desires, within reason. Any topic, any stance, any length, you can create a Squidoo lens for it. (Lens is Squidoo speak for article.) The site pays by revenue share, so there is no upfront pay for articles, and it also offers the option to earmark your portion of the earnings to charity. It is a platform through which writers can publish their work and monetize it. How Can I Earn Money On Squidoo? When you create a lens, Squidoo's Google AdSense account will place ads on it. These ads earn money just as they would if they were on your personal blog. Also, you can monetize each of your lenses with affiliate links such as those to specific Amazon products or other types. All of this money ends up in Squidoo's hands though. They earmark 50% of every penny that comes in to distribute to writers, or "lens masters" … [Read more...]
