Great article. First time visitor. Great content. I am wondering if the site I am associated with, http://www.4ezwork.com , can refer people from other countries. The list of companies above give Americans an opportunity abroad. I may be wrong but usually it is the other way around. Again, great article.

I’ve worked with Transcom and you need to be careful if you have a disability. I originally received my referral through a non-profit that refers workers with disabilities to companies who give first consideration to those workers and promotes flexible schedules for them. I started out as an at-home call center rep that was supposed to receive hourly + sales commission part-time, flexible.

Shortly after I started, the sales commission was cut. For about a year, hourly and OT continued without flaw, but then Transcom announced that anyone hired with a disability must change to longer hours and a non-flexible schedule or prove (re-vetting via doctor) that the disability prevented the worker from being able to do the new schedules.

After the re-vetting, several of the workers with disabilities suddenly experienced issues that resulted in their being fired from or leaving the company. Some repeatedly received “warnings” about their productivity or were fired for not following procedures (even though they had never previously received any sort warnings) and some started having technical errors that prevented them from receiving calls or remotely accessing required systems.

Because the company isn’t in the same state, you can’t go after them for this type of behavior unless you file a case in the state where the corporate headquarters is located (or, at least that was the case at the time).

Hi, liked the article. Just quick question: Do you or does anybody know if any of the above companies hire U.S. citizens who happen to be traveling internationally? Thanks! —Zach

They call these worldwide / global opportunities, but why are there hardly any opportunities for Asian countries ?? Nothing worldwide or global about these job opportunities.. please do not be misled by such racist and differential factors.

Don’t feel bad, they don’t want you if you happen to be IN Mexico, either. I’m not Mexican or Spanish-speaking I just got STUCK here and need a job to get enough money to get OUT.
