Is earning Christmas money for this year’s holiday season already a concern on your mind? Christmas is suppose to be a great day of celebration and time to spend with your family. However, for many it becomes a huge stress that is dreaded as the countdown begins. Usually the stress is from a combination of busy schedules trying to cram in MORE stuff and the responsibility we carry to buy presents for our friends and family. Often, people go far into debt every winter and then spend most of the new year trying to catch up. That is not a good way to begin a new year. Start 2013 right by making money for Christmas BEFORE December rather than after!

Earning Christmas Money isn’t going to solve it all…
Let me suggest that you give yourself permission to cut back on your Christmas spending. Check your list- check it twice- does everyone on your list really need a gift from you? Does it have to be store bought. Would they be equally happy if you made them cookies?
Having open conversations with friends and family can also ease your burden. Sometimes the mere face you buy your sister something for Christmas every year only adds stress on her because she feels she has to do the same in return. A simple conversation may allow you both to realize the present is not important and relieve some burden. You can still treat them with something special– but money doesn’t have to be the source! This actually will revive the Christmas Spirit in you and others- allowing you to remember what Christmas is truly about anyway.

Yes, I’ve already begun to think of that.

Awesome. I’ve already started and dont have too much more to do actually

I don’t recommend About Face at all. They take six weeks to pay – if they do. There are a lot of hoops to jump through and they continually offer the same shops. I haven’t received anything new from them in over a year – even the locations for the shops remain the same.
Thanks for Sharing Andie. I know many of those mystery shopping companies are like that for me too, I have always figured it was because I live in such a remote area though.
This article goes along with exactly what I was thinking about last night. I am determined not to stress about Christmas this year. We have year-and-a-half year old and want to make it the best possible holiday for her.
